2010 In an exhibition at the Galerie für Gegenwartskunst in Bremen in late summer he shows works that refuse to be categorically divided or determined, even at the very source of their duplication.
In his opening speech, Rainer Beßling talks about ... entities with an inherent tendency towards separation. Like Platonic bodies that remain closely related even in their dualism.
A programmatic element becomes evident. Mirroring and doubling, separation and sequence, reflection und polarity are defining thematic and structural elements of this exhibition.
2011 In his winter home in Spain he carries out preliminary studies for a new book and writes a number of short texts. Under the heading Realspiegelungen (Real Reflections) he looks back at some of his works from the 1990s and seeks current points of reference for aesthetic processes that previously lent stability to insecure mirror images. As usual, he then spends the summer in Northern Germany. He takes photographic images of everyday objects and turns them around, departing from the conventional perspective, and produces a portfolio of six digital pigment prints entitled Ida y vuelta / Conversiónes, which is published in the autumn.
2012 - 2013 He contributes three works to the exhibition
8 Stunden 27, which is held in the Gleishalle am Güterbahnhof in Bremen in late summer 2012. Featuring works by artists from Bremen and Salzburg, the exhibition is subsequently presented at the Traklhaus in Salzburg, where it is entitled
899 km Bremen Salzburg.

He plans a trip to Egypt as part of the ›Bremer Kunst Satellit‹ initiative, with Wolfgang Hainke as project curator. They develop a concept for a book in which the image of a ›satellite in orbit‹ serves as a model for mental operations; on the journey, these will encourage him to view symbolic cycles from the past from an eccentric position and to consider prototypes of modernism in relation to pictorial representations in ancient Egypt. In January 2013, accompanied by their assistant Lisa Simon, they all travel to Aswan and Luxor in Upper Egypt. Upon his return to his Spanish winter abode, he reviews and edits all the images and textual fragments that were gathered together in Egypt before writing the book Naked Hardware / Die Reise als Skulptur, which goes to print at the end of the year and was presented in January 2014 at Künstlerhaus Bremen in the context of a movie night.
